Possible altinator Problem????

ive noticed when its cool outside and i crank it up after sitting all day, my lights and guages get really bright then dim, and back and forth for about 20-30 seconds. has anybody else had this problem?

its the GRID heaters warming the FUEL cycling. Its NORMAL. No GLO plugs but a intake heater system. The COLDER it is the longer it will do this on startup. I think its mentioned in the owners manual.

YES! Thats ONE of the reasons for DUAL batterys.

I think I read somewhere the grid heaters draw 90 amps.
