Cruising on I64 from VA to MO. Now in Mt. Vernon, IL.

Lost throttle response; codes P2121 and P2122.

Just need to replace the APPS?

So we limped into town, stopped at Purcell Tires. Great place. At first, the pedal response was intermittent, but seemed to get more stable. The shop called all over but were not able to find a replacement APPS. But it seemed to be working alright, so we drove the last 100 miles. No problems. Maybe it was just overheated, it was over 100 degrees. Anyway, I'll order one from Amazon or Geno's before I return home.

Any secrets to replacing it?

I just replaced mine from Genos, the directions are ok :/ I didnt use a elec tester to calibrate, i just had someone watch my Smarty Touch to set the idle screw position. [trottle position %]

My prob was dead pedal then eng reved on its own  !
my codes where: P2121 & P2123

So, I ordered one off Amazon for $19.99. Since I am not at home, I needed it here soon and that was the only one with Fulfillment by Amazon.

I put it on and drove around a bit. At first it seemed OK, but then it would occasionally stick, generally between 0% and 20%. It feels really weird when you lift your foot off the pedal and you don't slow down! So I sent it back.

I would have loved to have gotten one from Geno's, but I wasn't sure it would get here in time. So I bought one from NAPA. Put it in and it works great. And if I don't lose the receipt, it has a 3 yr, 36K mile warranty. So that's where I am now.
