Hey, some of us make up for lousy, p!$$ poor (start $8/hr) wages by doing just that . That is why I now have *2* houses to keep up and maintain.

well when you could have bought a house for $150k about 5-6 years ago . . now its $350k here mainly do to House Flippers. . and City people trying to do the country thing. . argh. I see signs often that say starting in the low $500's often too ???? Even with a "good" job $50k plus. . I can't afford to live here. . I will be forced to move some where else when I can get the chance to transfer. . argh it sucks. . forcing the locals that were born and lived here for generations to move. I can't rent a house from ma and pa forever. .

as for $8 and hr? even if I lived in the most rural part of NY or virginia etc you couldn't live on $8 an hr.
