Ineresting Paper on Milage

Check this out.

Got my new "Light & Medium truck" Magazine and there was a big spread from Chrysler saying they are taking on the TRUCK WORLD. :)

They should be good. Next to it in the pic is a 3500 and THIS LOOKS BIGGER!

Definetly looks like a cab & chassis.

i have a friend that works at dc and he says that the new 4500-5500 w/the new 6. 7 ltr ctd will be cab and chasis trucks only at first for testing

6. 7 cummins and a 6 spd automatic sounds ok to me. I wonder if they are withholding info on the actual hp # or if it will still be 305, 610? I would think it will be more or they will be behind even the new ford, that is already behind the chevy.

Who is Aisin anyway?

Looks to be a Japanese company. Anybody ever heard of them?

Aisin is a Japanese company. They build excellent quality products. We have had a lot of experience with them on forklifts. They build everything from transmissions (dam near bulletproof!) to fuel systems to water pumps. They are reputable and high quality. The transmissions are used on Toyota and Komatsu lifts. They are very strong, both automatic and manual. I would be interested in one in a Dodge, even though I have no complaints about the current 6-speed.
