We're gonna have that bigtime barbeque down here in Lothian on Saturday, 20 October. We're heading to Texas Sunday and will be bringing back some major beef to cook. Chowtime around 1 PM.



We're providing the meat, so y'all bring one or more of the following:



salad (potatoe, macaroni, whatever you like)

beans

desert

drinks

Sorry for my absence gang,,Needed some time to clear my head a little,,My mother was rushed to hospital a week ago and is not doing well,,So I needed a little time away,too much stuff all at once and it seems at times to get a little overwhelming,,I have not yet heard from the lady in charge of the deal at The Cummins Powerstore nor have I recieved any info yet(probably part my fault here though,,I did leave her both of my numbers for her to contact me,but,I should have called back sooner),,I'll make sure to call her tommorrow and get what I can from her,,I'll post the info as soon as I get off the phone as many seem to be interested,,They wanted an idea of how many are coming so far I have 15 confirmed and 1 possible,, Mopar-Muscle ,To answer your question about if its a one day meet or what,Yes its a one day meet that I do know for sure,,I'll get the info up early so all can see,,Sorry for the silence... Info on Open House

I had a long talk with Kristy Jones rom the Cummins Powerstore today,,Here is all I know at this moment,,The day will begin at around 10 am and finish after 2 pm,,Breakfast(coffee and donuts) and lunch(hamburgers and hotdogs) will be provided to all who come,,Engine and generator seminars on care and maintence,New product seminar(24 and 12 valve) for our 5. 9's,,There also will be Dodge Cummins specfic items discussed,two items she told me about were a palm pilot that diagnoses your 24 valve trucks engine and a Pre-Luber starter System also(myself I have seen and particapted in their test of this system as we did this on our M-11 Cummins in our frieght trucks at work,with great sucess),,Fleetguard will be there as will Valvoline Oil with representives for us,,There will be show specials in the parts and giveaways also,,I need addresses emailed to me from all that plan to attend for invatitions and will send them out to you,,Now,NO INVITATIONS ARE NECESSARY,BUT,its for the door prizes I was told,,Addresses will be given to Kristy for PRE-Regiatration for a Palm-Pilot giveway(diagnostic tool) and we need to be pre- registered for it,,She also told us SHINE THEM UP and make them sparkle as they will give some awards out for best of show pieces,,There are a total of three of these open houses in their Powerstore system,this week in Harrisburg,Pa,November 10 in GLen Burnie,MD and November 17th in Bristol,PA ,,She has assured me that anyone who is interested and can not make the 10th is welcome at ANY other of the shows,,I need to keep a running count on who's coming so make sure you let me know,,Lets fill up the lot guys,show them our rides and learn a little something,,ALL ARE WELCOME,lets send off the year with a big showing,,I'll get a link up with directions and anyone who wants to convoy in lets do it,,They'll let us in at 8am so we can arrive early for stories,and I know we all have many of them,,Keep me informed and any questions drop me a note... ... I'll be there. I heard talk of a Cummins convoy. Have Ya'll decided where and when you're going to meet up. Anybody going thru frederick. I'm coming out of western Md. Please let me know. Also did any of you get a flier from Cummins in the mail. I got one. It said if you R. S. V. P. by Oct. 31 they'll put you in for a drawing for a palm pilot. Doug

Convoy

FFUTCH; There are a whole lot of us that will be going thru Frederick or already live in the Frederick area. We have been kicking the convoy idea around and I think it is going to fly. Don't know yet where and when we will meet up, but keep an eye on this post. I'll put in the info as soon as we decide.

For the rest of you out there, any suggestions on the time and place to gather up for the "Cummins Convoy?
