Cummins convoy

I am going to be out of town, on the road, all next week until late Friday evening. As far as I know, we are still going to meet at FSK Mall in front of Sears store at 8:00 AM. It would be nice to know how many are going to meet there to prevent us from waiting too long for someone to show up. Tom, we'll kick it down to an acceptable speed when we passthe ramp, will let you know on CB when we are about a mile away so you can get up to speed as we pass.

To all the people coming from the west , what time are you going to be leaving Frederick. I'm at exit 82-83 so let me know and I'll join in on the convoy. What channel are you all going to run on the CB? Sounds like we are going to have a good showing at the Cummins building.

Hi all,I've been working a lot of hours lately. Have'nt had a chance to get back with y'all. Can you give me an exit # for this mall. I am definately going to make time to go to this. It's hard to find time when you work two jobs. Meeting at 8a. m. right? Doug

Is anyone NOT planning on having a full cab or does NOT want to take their truck. I'm just asking as I would rather see trucks with at least two people in them... . keeps you alert when you converse... plus the trip seems a lot quicker that way.

FSK Mall

Yes, we are meeting at 8:00 AM. Coming east on I70 you will exit at exit 53 (I270 towards DC) go to next exit 31A (rt 85) and after you go back under I270 stay in the right hand lane and exit at the light into the Mall. You will see the Sears store on that end of the mall and just look for the CTD's. If you have a CB we will be monitoring channel 19.

I know it's kind of late in the game but I just now saw this and talked to the wife and she would go with me If I decided to go on Nov. 10th. I will be getting off work at about 7:00 am that morning and would be driving from the Dulles Int'l Airport area. Would take a bit over an hour but I would like to see all of the good TDR folks again and get some good info. from Cummins.

Anything else you need to know just ask.

Cummins Power Systems Inc. is Ready!

I talked to the guys over there today at the parts counter, and they are looking forward to the 10th. They also said that they have over 200 official R. S. V. P's. I said huh, did you know that there are people coming down from up north, like New England? They just looked and most likely thought I'm just another back hills nut case. But seroiusly, I think that they are going to put on a good show. Can't wait to see everyone

Are you talking about one in MD? If so there is one in Odenton. Look at your map it just a little south of Glenn Burnie. Its around I97 rt 32 and rt 3, where they all come together, its on rt 3. Off the top of my head I can not remember the name.

Capitol Raceway-Updated-Again

I think it is Capitol Raceway. I will check on it. If that is the track I am thinking of, they have open nights on Friday and/or Saturday.

This time of year the hold the Test & Tune is held weather permitting and the track waits until the end of the week to make the decision. Looks like they are going to start Friday evening around 17:30. See the link for info.

Just got in from road

Ok gang,,Looks like the show at Powerstore will be a full one to say the least,,To those who dropped me a note late I am going to double-check all those I have already sent out and those who posted here so they have a final count,,From chatting with Kristie I get the impression that they had no idea it could be this large of a turnout(I see R. E already told you that),,To those who sent me a note in the last week for invitations they were all sent out but make sure i still get the addresses as I'll send the master list off to the Powerstore on Monday morning,,Also keep in mind here,thsoe who did not get them due to the overwhelming response I had(man my hand hurts from addressing those envelopes)you ARE welcome regardless of whether you have an invitation or not,,Due to the nature of the frieght I am hauling out west right now I may be a little late in my arrival at the show but I'll be there,,I have a list or places to eat sent to me by a business associate of mine for the area and will bring it along,,Now all we need is some sunshine and it'll be a slobberknocker of a time,,Looking forward to all who come(can not wait for another shot in the Mopar Missle,er,Muscle)and its got all the makings of something special,,Any questions drop me a note,,Till then,,,Andy
