Well I got my smarty about 2 months ago and since getting it have been playing with it more and more trying different settings stacked with my quadzilla pressure box. What i have noticed from the beginning was with the quadzilla box on setting 2 (100 hp) with the smarty on pretty much any setting my truck would hunt in the two to three shift under like a 3/4 throttle takeoff. If i use less throttle or more throttle it wouldn't do it nearly as much. If I turned the quadzilla off it really wouldnt have any shifting issues. Now, at this point in time, i am noticing this hunting more and more, sometimes now even with the quadzilla off. Is this a symptom of my transmission crapping out (the hunting?) At first i really thought it was just an issue with having the smarty and quadzilla on that was causing it, but it does seem to do it more lately (especially when it is cold out). Is anyone else experiencing these issues or anything similar... . mine is an 03 with the 47re with DTT goodies.

Thanks guys

because of the different power adders on your truck, your kick down cable needs to be adjusted in conjunction with the smarty. Call your DTT installer/builder. Easy fix.

Yes, I'm experiencing this also with the smarty. I experienced it with the edge juice also but not quite as bad. I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm sure someone will chime in.

well, to update, the problem rapidly got worse, to the point that it hung really bad on the 2-3 shift, so bad that it was really not drivable anylonger. So I took the truck up to J and H in Redding. Found out the problem was just a bad governor solenoid. They replaced that for me and now the truck drives much better than ever... I think this solenoid has been faulty for quite sometime... . I now have no hunting at all, even with the quadzilla on and the smarty on the high settings. So anyone experiencing hunting or hanging shifts, might want to check out the governor solenoid!
