Post counter, how many?

I've noticed recently that the little counter (post count) under the user name doesn't change regardless of the forum?

Not that I'm in competition with Bill Fleming



I'm just wondering why?

The only posts not counted are in the Other forum. The counter changes in all your posts every time you post, even your very first post here will read 156

As illflem said, the post counter is for all the posts you've put on the site - minus any that have been deleted and any that are in the other forum. It's also a live link so any post your looking at has that users most recent information in it.
