I read your response on how you just click on topic by topic and I l know that works. OTOH the last days search is COOL!. We should be able to block out some of these forums. Now I'm not going to name names but its all those 3rd gen people that are causing the problem!



Okay before you say anything, Yes I remember wat it was like to be excited waiting on my Ram and yes I remember the Heady days when us 24 valvers overtook the 12 valvers total post count. That being said... ... These 3rd Gen Guys need to be stopped



I have two suggestions,



1) An interlock on their puters that will not let them post if they are drinking.

2) Charge them a nickel a Post, They got Money they just bought a 40K truck



I replied to a post today and went back and looked after 20 minutes and it was gone? I thought what the heck. I realized it only took 20 minutes for a post to fall off the first page. Man! There is some post total going on here.



Seriously, It would be sweet if we could exclude some forums, Doing the last days post search is like standing in front of a water hose, too much info.

Actually, if you look at the number of posts in the 2nd gen and 24v forums you'll see that there are almost as many posts there as in the 3rd gen forums each day. In order to implement something like that I would have to write custom code along with several screens to enable it. We talking about 20-30 hours worth of programming to implement. Some time in the next year we will be upgrading to Vb 3. 0 and all that would would have to be done again because it's a major release change. Major changes to the forum software such as that really don't make sense because they have to be redone when the vB software changes. We implement many smaller changes to the forums when they are feasible. This one just isn't I'm afraid. I will suggest it to vB for inclusion in future versions of the software however.

On a side note, the only reason the overvalved trucks took over in post counts were COMPLAINTS about lift and injection pump FAILURES!!!



Yea, something to be proud about!!



12 valves rule, and here is to the the 3rd gens! Way to go, obsoleting the 24 valve trucks WOOOHOOOO!!!



Steve, come on now, 20-30 hours for a simple change? Please.
