Have you already made sure the dimensions are within the limits and the file size isn't too large? Picture posting is pretty limited, I usually upload mine to Photobucket then do a link.

Actually, picture posting these days is not very limited at all. The only limitation is that the picture be under 2mb - the system will automatically resize it for you.

Steve, I still had to resize it myself and this is the largest picture size I can get. What am I doing wrong?

How big was the file to begin with? The system is going to resize any picture that you upload to the forums to 560 pixels wide or under 112,000 bytes. That's because that is the max width that will show on an 800x600 screen without it making all of the posts wider than the persons screen - there are still users using 800x600 displays. If your picture was over 2mb to begin with then you'd have to resize it to under 2mb in size. In the case of a JPG image the file size depends largely on the quality setting you have it saved at - if you have it saved at a quality (sometimes called compression) setting of 10 (or 100 depending on the program) it will be a significantly larger file than if you have it set at 5 (or 50%). Try right clicking on your original file and click on properties and see what size the file is.

The file size is 2. 82mb or 2896kb. I see what you are saying.

Here's another one. It worked.
