probably a simple answer to this question - but I've noticed that my "number of posts" doesn't change..... is that a setting on my end or?

Dave, I noticed you post alot in the Politics and other forums. Posts in theese areas do not count twards your post count. Thus your count won't rack up.

As Tim said, other and political forum posts do not add to your post count total. The other thing that confuses some people is that the post count is a live number - meaning that once it changes it changes on all the prior posts too.
