Hey Doc .........

There is a place in Idaho that makes fudge with potato as the main ingredient. Has anyone tried it?

Another odd potato use: A dairy in Oregon adds potato to their icecream and chocolate milk. I hope to make it out there one day to try it.

If it's got potato in it, it's got to be good.

Doc

Don't know about potato fudge, but there was (is?) a place in El Dorado Ark that sold potato flour based donuts, or Spud-nuts as they called em.

They were really good.

Spudnuts are still in business. We used to get them as kids when we helped my Pop deliver milk to a neighboring town.

Also, Cheap@$$ McDonalds uses potato flour in their milk-shakes so they don't have to use more expensive ice cream.

And a friend's German Grandmother used to make a potato-chocolate desert called Kuchel-something. It was delicious!
