Well guys I want more power, and i'm getting the Torque Converter and Valve body done before any mods done. My question is, would I be OK running the following mods: #6 Plate, Stock hx 35 w/ non-gated 16, marine 370's, and high flow delivery valves? I never tow anything, but unloaded would things get to hot? -thanks, Buck

with 370's it will be quite warm even unloaded go with Industrial Injection of somebody like that the injector are better do to the fact that the spray pattern is different for marine motor then in are trucks.

And with the other mods depending on how much you stump on the pedal the input shaft will eventually brake I broke my input took out tc and pump in my trans with a 4gsk tst #5 afe stage1 intake the rest was stock except valve body and tc in the trans. But I drag race the truck every couple weeks.

You better get you wallet out. Your stock trany won't last very long if you use much of that power. You will most likely snap a shaft or toast bands.

i ran like that for a whilebut i have a manual transmission, just get the injectors, plate and gsk. the DV's will be a waste of money with the stock turbo, you won't see anyhp increase.

I agree with KevinH, DV's are a waste of money with an HX35 you already have 181's in your pump. Forget the ''high flow'' ones, those are only 191's. Most people that install 191's in their truck which came with 181's have only seen and increase in smoke and decrease in mileage with little or no HP gain. The only way if you want to upgrade your DV's is if you go with laser cuts or City Diesel's DV's.

370s for the cheap, or a set of DD3s or DDP3s. Wait on the DVs. IIRC, Joe Donnelly said he actually lost a little power (I didn't feel a loss in my truck) the with the 191 vs the stock 181s. If the rest of the pump is setup right, the 181s will more enough fuel for 800hp, which is where he was at, before selling the truck for a 3rd gen.
