i have a 98 1 ton with the 24 valve and iam looking to get a power chip does any one know of a good one

I have a 2000 2500 4 x 4 6 spd 3:55 gears. I put a VanAaken unit on it. I love it. Got 3 to 5 more mpg. Was getting 16. 5 at 65, now get 20-22 at 75 (unloaded). Lots more exceleration.

JD,3 to 5 more mpg... Wow that's great. You should get in the 20's with your set up, however, I don't think that the VA can add 5mpg. Your motor is probably breaking in, resulting in more mileage also. Rex,Typical gains with a VA are in the 1 to 2 mpg area. Some may get more like jd, others will see very little change. Just don't plan on the 3 to 5. Edge, BD, Blue Chip, TST, Van Aaken, they're all good, you just have to find the right one for your needs. My next box will be one with timing in it. I want to mostly gain mileage and of course a little more power can't hurt.
