Who Has These ???

noisy/surging fass pump

Well I've done it. Ordered a Power Edge EZ and a AFE air induction system for my stock 1998 1/2 24v. 4x4 w/auto. 42K miles. I pull a 27 ft. 5th. wheel over the mountains in Oregon. Next is gauges (I've been good Santa). What jumper settings do you reccomend? Any other help you can give me would be appreciated.

I believe the box comes from the factory on the middle setting, start there and see what you think. Do the wastegate mod to get boost up a few psi and you'll be amazed! I would get the gauges in before you romp on it too much (can't help a little play time!) and watch the trans temps with your auto.

Enjoy the "unleashing of the hounds (or horses)", the BOMbing bug is addictive...

The 65 horsepower setting is how they are shipped you should be fine but do get a set of guages and yes the bombing bug is very addictive

Newsflash-- ALL EZ settings give 65hp for a 2nd gen EZ.

They are shipped from the factory on the MOST aggressive setting (#3).

Changing the jumper to a lower setting reduces low-boost fueling and has almost NO effect on dyno HP. Maybe 1 or 2 hp.

Do yourself a favor and move the jumper to the mildest setting to help protect your trans and reduce smoke. Throttle behaves a lot better, too.

If you want more fuel, add injectors.

Newsflash read the specs moving the jumper on the ez for second gen cummins reduces horsepower by 2 so there you are you just reduced power by 2hp so 63hp, edge should have left that alone but if everyone else is making a adjustable module I guess they had to as well.
