Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Power for egt

New guy here

Installed guages 2 weeks ago - looking for a clean power source for my egt guage. Guages are on the pillar, and right now I have the guage plugged directly into a spare fuse hole. Thanks guys!



BTW I installed an edge EZ last week and I love it... Mileage is up 2 mpg; tons more power, and engine seems to run a little smoother.

Any circuit in the fuse panel will provide more than enough power for your pyro, and provide clean power. Fuse your gauges at 1A or the recommendation of the gague manufacturer. I used an "add-a-circuit", it replaces one fuse that plugs into the socket then you put your gauge fuse inline and the fuse for the original circuit into the adaptor. They can be bought at any parts store, for less than $5.

Silver, do yourself a favor and get the Painless wiring kit from Genos, I got the one that is keyed power, it has 7 fused circuits and this will give you power supply for all your future bombing needs .
