anyone care to remove their overflow valve and power on the lift pump ??? see if it flows an endless amount of fuel ??? tommy , if this is the case , all the more reason NOT to have 15psi at WOT without a seperate return path ... .

Mopar- I'm not disagreeing with you at all, what I am talking about is replacing all the fuel lines, fittings and pressure devices and replacing them with and aftermarket pump (Aeromotive 150gph) and a return style pressure regulator. This setup will always have positive pressure at the inlet of the VP-44 and will have plenty of excess fuel to return to the tank. I think this would be the best of both worlds don't you? This system is the same we use on race cars (Different application I know) that use a lot more fuel than my Ram ever will. A bypass system is easy on the fuel pump because it is always at max flow and any fuel that isn't used is returned to the tank, this will also help keep deposits from settling in the tank.

I appreciate everyone's input on this subject.
