Guys,

If I had a 2000 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 with 6 speed, 3. 54 gears and added:

1) DD II injectors

2) Jardine 4" exhaust less muffler

3) 14 cm turbine housing

4) K&N filter stock box

5) POWER EDGE COMP or TST PM#

6) later will by southbend clutch

What kind of rear wheel hp should I expect??

How about torque????

I am awaiting parts and have not decided which fueling box to go with, currently have PE EZ.

thanks

Don

DD2's will add about 60-70 HP, and an Edge Comp or TST PM3 will add around 120-130 HP. That's on a 5 speed equipped truck, commonly referred to as an ETC . The 6 speed High Output option truck, known as an ETH, won't see numbers that high, due to the injection pump having some differences.

Check out www.dieseldynamics.com They have power charts on their website, and can answer any questions you might have.

No power gains from the rest of what you listed, as far as I know.

i'd say 350-375hp---hp ratings are tough to judge--just remember there is advertised and real and like most things advertised are just a little off--I'm not putting anyone down here, just don't be surprised if there is a diff between the added hp power ratings for all the stuff you've added to your truck and your dyno #'s-there's always the X factors-----chris

Big Don,

My truck is a 2000 3/4 ton 4x4 3. 54 QC 6spd ETC exactly like yours and it made 406hp on the dyno with the following on it:

-TST PM3

-DD2 injectors (original series, you would need current 3's to match these)

-Psychotty/K&N air

-Southbend clutch

-stock HX35/12cm turbo

-stock 3" exhaust but straight piped

If you want a true 400hp rig you'll have to go with DD3's or you'll be at about 375-380 with the current 2's.

We have several ETH customers running that kind of combination. One thing I will mention is that with the DD2's and a Comp (or Ultimate) box, you will have some pretty high EGT's if you tow, regardless of what you do with the stock turbo. For that setup, we recommend using the HX-40. At that power level, we also usually see a gain of about 30hp or so by switching turbos.

We have a local customer with that setup (DD2's, DDUPM, HX-40, exhaust, etc. ) and his truck makes 435hp on the dyno.

Hope that helps.
