power levels for Edge EZ

I need to know what jumpers go where for what power levels on a Edge EZ for a 04. 5 ctd. I have heard of people setting their EZ to level #6, I thought there was only 3?

The first ones had 6 settings. The newer ones have 4 plus one "secret" setting along with what was originally level 6 which is now "off" so you don't need to remove the box to run stock.

5 ::: x:: (secret)

6 ::: xx: (off on newer boxes)





Keep in mind that the left bank of pins is just storage space and has no effect on actual settings. You can put the pins anywhere on left. . or leave them off entirely.

Anyone know, FOR SURE, what the different horse power levels are on the Edge EZ?



I've got the Van Aaken C-3. 2 (duration-only) box & have done the Tone Ring Mod (timing). I thought, maybe, I'd add just a little pressure via a pressure box (lowest level). But, I don't want too much.



With this set-up & the EZ on the lowest level, would that still be too much pressure. I'm mostly interested in the added fuel economy with the pressure. I'm happy with the performance of the VA C-3. 2 but, a little better fuel economy would be nice. Especially with todays fuel costs.



Any thoughts would be appreciated.

BRayls, just exactly do you mean when you say hard on injector tips? I am having a problem with the idle speed on my 03 and they are telling me that it may an injector that is dirty. I have always used a conditioner and also put in some of their expensive stuff that is supposed to clean the injectors. I am wondering if the pressure boxes have caused wear or damage to the injectors to cause this problem. I have only used the Edge EZ on the stock setting or an a Xzilleraider for a short time.

the high pressure erodes(sp?) the tips I have even seen them cracked due to pressure.
