Yesterday I made some adjustments thinking it would solve some stumble problems. First I removed the AFC because I had read that after the AFC spring kit is installed, I needed to make an adjustment on the screw on the very back end of the AFC housing. I turned it in 1 1/2 turns after the screw made initial contact with the diaphram. Next, I made the govenor lever adjustment. I adjusted it so the tip of the lever was just slightly below the tip of the #5 plate. The only other thing I did was loosened the govenor spring packs a click and then adjusted the idle on the back of the pump. Two things have changed sinced doing this. One is I can only get about 22 lbs. of boost, and secondly, the power has dropped off noticably. My question is which of these adjustments could have impacted this the most? Presently, the plate is slightly forward and the AFC housing is about 2/3 rds forward. Any ideas or suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks
