Archived power loss after prime-loc

I have a 96 12 valve that I just put a prime-loc fuel relocation kit on. Immediately after I installed it I started hearing a ticking sound from that side of the engine. Now a week later I am losing power. I did use pipe thread tape for the threads but tried not to have extra on them. Thanks In advance for any advice.

I, my son seems to have a similar noise kind of a metalic sshh sshh sshh but we have not located it yet. How did you determine the location?

We have a primeloc and have had a loss of power-reliabilty now the truck will not start. Please let me know of any further info. Thanks

When you all find out that the prime lock caused the problem please ship it to me. I will be glad to use it...
