Engine coolant additives

No bombing but a M80 would be nice.

We are experiencing problems with our 05 CTD automatic where the engine and transmission appear not to be working together. You can take off and the power is just not there, the engine revs to 21 to 2700 rpms and the truck hardly moves down the road. It has been to the local dealership so many times lately and no one can "duplicate" the problem. There also is some vibration and we're not sure where this is coming from either. We are almost at the point of thinking it is something electrical that is controlling the transmisson! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Everything on vehicle is stock so no aftermarket equipment in vehicle. We pull a 1100# 5th whl trlr and have experienced some surging also going down grade. We just want this problem fixed!

The vehicle has only 21,000 miles on it. We only tow about twice a year. Oil is changed on a 7500 mile basis, as I am the wife driving it to work, short stops of less than 10 miles total. Serpentine belt was replaced under warranty a year ago due to defective separation. What bands are you speaking about?
