I have a 1999 Ram 2500 4x4, 5. 9 diesel with an automatic transmission. I currently have 75hp injectors, a Banks Power Pack system and a Smarty system installed.

That said... I'm looking for more power to a level of about 600hp. Knowing this. . what do you recommend to get there? Is there one supplier I should coordinate systems with that you may have had good luck with?

I expect to upgrade the transmission and torque converter to handle the increase in power as well. At this time I'm looking at BD Performance Systems, ATS systems including transmissions and compound turbo setups.

I'd appreciate any help from you as I know many of you have been down this road and might be able to guide me in the right direction.

How did you come up with the 600hp level as your goal? What is it the truck won't do now that you want it to do? Are you drag racing, towing, daily driving?

600hp with your truck, while achieveable, will have some driveability sacrifices to go along with it.

it gets more expensive above 500Hp, and the truck will be more difficult to control smoke.

I am happy at 350-420 (adjustable box)

You have been asked some good questions. Now, your Banks Power Pack taps the pump wire so other pump taping devises, while possibly improving your power curve, will not net you gobs more power. You need bigger sticks for that. The transmission is the next big issue you will run into. I hear ATS does a good job as does DTT. My pick would be Dave Goerend. Goerend Transmission Incorporated

Restoring the layer structure... (this is ATS ) I don't know why it appears this way on the post.

I agree with darkhorse, the transmission will be the next thing to take care of. Also if you dont already you will need a set of gauges. Right now the adrenaline is the latest rave, and since it has gauges it might be worth looking into. One thing for sure is head studs. You wont be able to get that kind of power without upgrading for higher boost levels. 0-rings and fire rings are a possibility. Also if you decide to get bigger injectors Formula One would be the way to go.
