anyone running one by its self (ie. not stacked or with injectors?) im looking for a little more power than the EZ i have now- but do not want a TST i dont want to push my truck to hard! mostly i want to make up for running the 35 inch tires i have now. i have been waiting patiently as a lot of you have for over two years for the juice 03 version and have had enough. i think edge makes a great product but they have yanked my chain long enough. every time i talk to them its a different story. anyway i talked to a guy at bully and he said a stock truck can handle the pup and mine should have no probs at all. he also said the 130 hp 250ish tq was rear wheel gain. these box/programs have been disscused to death but i was hoping for some real world input.

I'm running one on my 03, with the Outlook. Yes, it makes a big difference. Notice that mine is a SO, not an HO, and I think there is more to gain with the SO.

I haven't seen any mileage gains. With stock exhaust I am EGT limited, which Outlook lets you set for defueling at whatever temperture you want. In OD I'm torque converter slip limited where you won't have this problem. I've only run it in Tow and Performance modes. I've never tried Extreme.

Overall I'm satisfied. Nice display with lots of options. I've complained in the past about the lack of instructions that come with the Outlook, and there were some minor quality issues with Outlook as well. Maybe BD has improved these two things in the last 6-8 months, but even if they haven't I think you would be satisfied with the purchase as well. My only contact with BD provided excellent customer service.

I have one

I have had the PUP since last October. Also have the Outlook. Overall I have liked it. It has good power starting at 1300rpm. I dyno'd it stock 262hp and extreme 380hp. I had problems with a flat spot at around 2000rpm and sent it back to Bully Dog. It now has a flat spot at 2200rpm  I was lucky to be part of the Quadzilla beta group. I really like the Xzillaraider. Having the ability to change settings in the cab, on the fly is great. I have it working with my Outlook. Had to make a pigtail for the data port connection. Looking forward to seeing the Quadzilla monitor. Bottom line though, the PUP was a good deal for the $$$. I'm just happier with the performance, adjustability of the Xzillaraider. Quadzilla's support has also been much more responsive than my experiences with Bully Dog.

Quadzilla all the way !!!! adjustable on the fly I sell at least 3 of these everyday and have had not one complaint the standard version is 30-60 and 100hp the race comes in 60, 100 and 140hp. Hey Fuzzybear

I have the Power Pup since Nov. and have had it on the Performance mode the entire time. I put it back to stock to take it to the dealer for warr. work. They never said anything so I didn't either. I love it , big difference when I went back to stock.

I have had it for several months now. I normally leave it on the performance (or middle) setting. I have a 03 HO and I notice a pretty good difference. I pulled a 12,000lbs ish trailer on this setting this weekend and no problem at all with egt. I am running a 4inch with straight through muffler and an improved intake.

I also ran it on extreme for a while and really did not see a big issue with egt. On a slightly uphill run I reached about 1300* (preturbo) at about 100mph (back roads with no one around). We also loaded a 2,000lbs of feed in the back and still had no problems with egt.

I will keep this program and am very pleased with the balance of power and egt. I do seem to get a little better milage with the box. I might someday stack it with a quad as I have read that they seem to stack good together and have adjustability in the cab.
