power pup won't work!!!

I bought a power pup downloader and when I choose performance download and enter/yes after just a sec or two it says unkonwn model.

I have a 05 and the downloader is for a 04. 5-05.

Might know if they made a bad one I'd get it.

They don't have much on their web site for the PP any more, but looking at old literature, the pups came in two models... ... . a model programmed for the 03 - 04. 5, then a separate model for the 05s by itself. You might have the wrong programmer for your rig.

The back of the box says 04. 5 -05 and when it powers up the display shows 04. 5 -05 on the main screen?

Just went through the same thing with a customer, They wont work on the later 05's Send it back and get the Triple Dog, it will work on your truck.

Just pup one on my 04 and it works great so far.

Where ever you got the Power Pup wasn't informed enough to tell you that it will not work on a 2005 with a manual trans ONLY, they work great on an automatic transmission.
