Okay... So I guess its decided. I'll convert my stock HX35 into a HX35/16. And go with the 4k GSK.

I'm going to go to the 370's for injectors... . TST advertises 370 marine injectors, Piers shows Bosch 370's, etc. etc... . Which ones are best?

And the delivery valves, 181's, 191's ? Whats best in this plan.

Do I need to change the air intake to a higher flow type, like an AFE?

Here's the deal..... I have a good friend I work with who has a Ford 350 PS. Its a newer model so it has "programmable" power. And he delights in dusting me off. Well, its my turn. I havent told him what I'm doing, I want it to be a surprise!!!! :-laf So your advice and counsel are much appreciated.

pdr has the 370's that you want. 181 dv's will work with the 160 pump and the 370's. my truck runs good and i have the setup you are talking about.

The 181's are less smoke at the lower end they are both the same at the top end. The 370's from Piers or TST are the same injector part # etc. , watch out for bogus 370's as there are over a dozen part #'s for the Bosch 370 injector. Get them from a dealer with a good reputation. Later when money permits you could add an HX40 60mm compressor housing and wheel and that will lower EGT's and give you more air faster, not more pressure. You should never run an HX turbo over 38# I know many of us have done it me included, but shaft breakage is going to happen sooner or later for sure. The air system should be in your first or second upgrade and the turbo in the second round. The Hybrid is just over $200. 00 and easy for any handy man to do, I did 400 HP with the hybrid and had enough air to pull my trailer but just barely enough.
