Auto trans clunk when going to REVERSE

I had a small fuel leak on VE pump. 300,000 miles. replaces all o rings and since the pump was open, i turned up the power screw 2 more turns.
Wow what a difference. now some trans work, 727 needs to be able to handle the power
I noticed the EGT's get high very fast, up to 900
I will take it out tomorrow on the freeway and open it up and see how it runs

If your only hitting 900 your doing good .It's when you hit 1000 to 1200 and it stay's there for a long period of time that you start hurting stuff.
 
I drove the freeway, cruse 70 mph, EGT 675 to 700 with boost at 3 to 4
quick acceleration with EGT to 950 and boost to 20, then back to 700 and 4 psi boost
never hit top end, let off at 85 mph, fast enough for an old Dodge
Idle still high, turned idle screw all the way down, maybe will turn the power screw back 1/2 turn
