power seat moter sounds like striped gears

my power seat sounds like stripped gears when its running 04 3500 can this be repaired by new gear or do you need amoter

Replace seat frame due to stripped cheap plastic gears costing $450+ or a difficult repair with parts here:

The case on one of my motors cracked one time and I found a replacement on Ebay for cheap. Its been working for 6+ years now.

I really love my truck but the seats in these trucks are junk.

Mine are stripped too. I had the seat rebuilt with hi density foam and the upholstery shop had a guy come in who'd sourced out metal gears for the motor.
I'm the only one driving the truck thus very infrequent adjustment. Pretty weak Dodge.
Our '05 Honda Pilot gets moved several times a day from new and works great.
