power seats

Hello all,



My power driver seat took a dump! The seat will not power up or down. The forward and reverse work fine. does anyone have expierance with the electric servo up and down motor that is probably causing the issue? thanks



2005 2500 Ram heavy duty quad cab. Auto trans.

Mine just did the same. The gear case on the motor broke. Dodge said I have to replace the whole seat drive system. 1 dealer = $535 another = $650. I hooked up a turnbuckle to where the adjuster was attached and to a hole near the motor/gear case. I can tilt the seat mechanically. Never adjusted it anyway once it was set unless I bumped the switch.

My up does not hold the position. Keep working the button. Any ideas?
