Power Service and MMO mix

I was reading a thread on one of the other Dodge Diesel forums, and it seems a mix of Power Service and Marvel Mystery Oil is a popular thing over there. Why are people getting such good results from this mix, and what damage, if any, are the doing to their fuel system. I havent seen any talk about this over here. I've been running Stanadyne in every fillup. I dont know if it works, but it is a peace of mind thing.

No damage.

You cant over use diesel fuel additives.

I dont know about mixing them,but I ran MMO in my 2000 and when I took the DD1 injectors out and put the stock ones back in before I sold it they were real clean no carbon buildup.

I ran those injectors for close to 80000 miles before I took them out.
