whats up with that are people useing the stuff to build bombs or something???

IS POWER SERVICE A MUSIFIER ???

Thats happened to me also. The cashier told me that people get high on it... ... ... sounds like a ton of fun  . I'm glad I like beer :D

Thats hilarious! Never heard of anyone getting carded!

Power service diesel fuel supplement disperses water much in the same way as primrose and redline, by solubization. There is a fine difference between emulsifying which suspends water and solubizing which dissolves water. Either way you are acheiving dispersal, not conglomeration of water. The diesel kleen product from powerservice has no water dispersants at all. I highly suggest finding redline if you can, autozone and advance carry it. While powerservice may seem cheap up front, the dosage makes the cost per treated gallon actually more than primrose or redline.

I've used both Stanadyne and Power Service. My truck seems to like the Stanadyne stuff better. Seems to run alil quieter.

I've always been carded whenever I buy Power Service at Wal-Mart. Along with spray paint and ammo. I made the mistake one time of sayin the ammo was for a pistol and they had me fill out this paper on what I was using it for and all this other BS. Sorry for the ramble.

nice to see im not the only one to get carded

I didn't get carded but I just used it for the first time and I have to say I believe you could get high on the stuff. I got some on my hands and and after washing three or four times I still smell the stuff. Tom

PS at Walmart

I wished I could still get carded, I would have felt honored. The lady just looked at me and said yeah your over 18. :-laf

I had that happen last year during the holiday shopping season when my wallet was out in my truck waaaaayyyyyyyyy out in the lot where it was only easily accessable by a shuttle service. That day I had Powerservice and 2 cans of spray paint and the saleslady would not sell me them due to no I. D. to verify my age. I told her look at my hair and see the grey from having 2 teenagers and that should be ID enough. She got rude then and demanded ID for the purchase and I had enough then and told her what to do with her products. I have not been back to Wally World since then and will NEVER buy anything from them again. I will not deal with a company who censors their products(movies, vidoes, music, paint etc etc)claiming its for our own good. Heck even a kid building a model car or truck kit can not buy a model paint set without his parents and a ID to go along with it. It makes me wonder where their ''Made in the USA" only statements of years past has gone... ... ... ... ... ... ... Andy

walmart used the MADEINTHEUSA thing to sky rocket to the top and once theyve closed every other kind of store they didnt need that any more.

alot to do with management also I think the old man killed over and left it to his kids ... ... $$$$

Kind of hard not to shop there they have just about everything @ one place you can eat,,,, get your hair cut,,,get glasses,,,, shop for truck stuff while the ol' lady is getting groceys and if you have those little walkie talkies you can talk across the store back and forth... ... (HOW ANNOYING IS THAT!!!)

try to go to meijers if I have a choise.

IS lowes and walmart and sams club all owned by the same company????

Meth Labs

My question is, how is carding going to stop or even deter meth cookers? Plus, most of the people who do the cooking are over 18 anyway. I cant buy sudafed anymore without standing in line for an hour at the pharmacy (not just WM, ANY pharmacy). After 4 years on the prairie, I have developed allergies to the entire midwest. I have yet to be carded, though- I've looked 18+ since I was 14. You cant buy injector cleaner, any kind of household cleaner, spray paint, cologne, model airplane glue/ paint, cold medicine, etc, etc.

Cooperating with the DEA to "stop drug use and manufacture?" Try harassing the public, and adding to the hassle of buying daily supplies. I'd venture that they have yet to stop a single meth lab from doing their business. Oh, yes, I forgot, it is for the children, so we must all be inconvenienced at any cost. It makes my blood boil every time the computer beeps asking is customer over 18. SHeez. We need to get the pantiwaist judges off the bench, fine/ disbar prosecutors that cut deals with the drug thugs (happens all across America on a daily basis- pay into a "crime victim's fund" [money for the judge/ persecutor/ sheriff's office], and you are free to continue cooking), and burn them all at the stake.

What I've been told is that they are tracking the purchases made, and if they are from the hit list of know chemicals for producing illicit drugs or bombs or other **** like that, they then call the cops on you. How are they tracking that? Well, every time you use your debit or creditcard, they have your name, they just correlate the purchases with your name/card number.

Do you really beleave that??

I suppose if you keep buying cases of the stuff everyday it may send up a flag but Im sure those people use cash ... ... ... ... dumb crooks dont last long.

You beat me to it, DieselMinded. I use cash whenever I can- esp if I dont have to mail it, or it is under $100. Keep the banks out of it and I keep more of my money. Cant really track cash purchases. I think it is just a feel-good PR campaign to make it look like they are doing something. The average bimbo soccermom thinks "Hey, they asked if I was 18, they must really care about my crumb crunchers. " Most people dont think into stuff like we do.
