power side mirror harness

ANyone know if there are power side mirror harnesses and wiring on truck with manuel tow mirrors? I have a 2001. 5 2500 with the manuel flip up mirrors and would like to retro fit power mirrors. I was wondering as this would definately make the job easier (I'm no good with truck wiring) and I found that my truck that lacks fog lights is still wired for the lights and had a harness at each spot where they would go, although no switch. Any help appreciated.

My 94 with manual mirrors and I found it was wired for power mirrors. I bought power mirrors from E-bay, and a switch and knob from the dealer. Everything plugged in together. The switch and knob from the dealer cost about what I paid for the mirrors and he gave me a deal to keep that under $55. 00! BTW, I the switch and knob from the dealer didn't include the nut to thread over the neck of the switch that sticks through the door covering. It was a tight fit so I used a black o-ring to help hold it.

I just did it to my 01



get a philips screwdriver and remove the order screw by the mirror, take a look, it simple to do.

Service manager at the local dealership says everything is in there, just need to take off the tow mirrors and slap on the power/heated ones. I didn't ask about the switches you'd need for the heater option though. I'm thinking of swapping out my mirrors too, let me know how it goes if you decide to do it!
