Power sliding rear window now whistles.....

Anyone know why this is?



If I bump the switch, to just slightly move the window, it stops.



It is as if it goes to far now, or a gasket has let go...



Suggestions?

I hope you come up with an answer. Mine started doing the same thing within the past week. Easy to fix by bumping the swith to back it up 1/2 inch or so.

It looks like I will need to get a friend involved to figure it out.

I had a small length of aluminum molding sitting on the gasket with the
window partially open, thought it might have torn the gasket, but no, it is fine.

The only thing that I can see, is that the stops for the window have shifted.

Now being off by 1/4 or 1/2" means the window slides too far, and no more seal...

I might also look at putting a second switch in the back as well.
