Thanks Dean, I have a bit of a vibration in the 2000 rpm area. I am going to look tonite to see if the dampers are there. I believe I heard the '04 trucks have them from the factory.
It looks like one hose gets the damper, is that correct?

I took mine in last week for the hose vibration, cracked alternator bracket and clutch rattle TSBs. The're gonna fix all but the hose vibration. Said they could not find anything wrong there.

Does anyone know what the REAL difference is between the original hose and the modified hose? Is it just a piece of foam insulation molded around the hose in one spot? Do you think a piece of foam water pipe insulation taped or tie wrapped to the hose would do the same thing? All it's doing is breaking the resonance - is that right?
Thanks,

Thanks Dean.
If someone who buys the new hose would weigh it and the old hose, we can determine how much weight is added. Then we could hose clamp a piece of pipe cut in half or something of similar weight.
Thanks.
