What the most reliable resource, (brand) for power steering hoses. Got one weeping. Blessings to All, Patrick

I have heard good things about Gates. They're made in Mexico, which is better than china I suppose. NAPA hoses are made by Gates, at least the ones that came in my NAPA packaging were. No matter what brand you choose these days, rest assured it will be junk and will not last the same 30 years your originals did. Sad but true.

Yeah quality of new stuff is sad and it seems to take forever to get factory replacement stuff, plus I absolutely hate the inverted o-ring flare that those hoses use. So I changed my truck over to use JIC hydraulic fittings and it's so much easier to get lines made now

I installed an O`Wileys lifetime asian made to keeep 'er going, needed for weekend work. Thank you all for your guidance. Happy Mother's day weekend. Blessings, Patrick

I found that ORB fittings fit perfectly, I know they make adapters just for that purpose but they seem to only fit certain GM muscle cars. I forget the sizes off the top of my head but all of them are metric threads

I took parts & quality power steering oil to shop round the block from our house, great job completed. Blessings folks, Patrick
