Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Our 2007. 5 6. 7L Dually's Power Steering Pump started leaking back in the spring. It looked like it was just leaking out around the resevoir cap. Dealer replaced it under warranty... the old one was a steel resevoir, the new one is plastic. Now the plastic one is leaking the same way!
Someone mentioned to me that it is because I am using it hard when backing up our trailer. This seems a little strange to me because i have been backing up trailers for over 20 years and this is the first time a PS Pump has leaked.
Any ideas out there before I go back to the dealer again?
