im putting hydro boost brakes, hydro assist steering and a hydraulic winch on my 4x4 and i need to get a better pump. i was wondering if anyone has put a pump from a class b or c truck on their 5. 9 and ditched the vacuum pump while they are at it?
how about this, will a power steering pump from a 4bt bolt on to a 6bt i have seen that they dont have a vacuum pump on them nd thought it would be perfect
I was thinking, perhaps a fuel infection pump from a 7. 3 powerjoke would supply the needed volume and pressure. Shouldn't be tough to locate one at a salvage yard somewhere. Just look for an AMBULANCE or a FedEx truck.
