Is there an aftermarket Power Steering Pump for the 2003 and up trucks? I see that PSC and AGR both have them up to 2002. Anyone else tried an aftermarket over a Mopar? Thanks for your help.

I've used the AGRs in several applications, and they work very well. I also like their Rock Ram systems, but that's a different topic. I'm not sure how much better they are than stock pumps, but they seem to steer easier. I know they run higher pressures. On the older 2nd gens, they make a pretty good difference, and seem to last fairly well. No real tests of time on the 3rd gens, yet. They are supposed to work best with their steering boxes(selling tactic? Probably). They're not too far down the road in Fort Worth, Texas, so I've been to their plant, and their managers and people are pretty nice, and very helpful. I've got one in the box, waiting on my stock one to give up, but it just keeps going..... guess I shouldn't rush it.

I've been wondering the same thing so I called AGR today and they only sell a Rock Ram system for our trucks. Reason being that you can't really jack up the pressure on the pumps as we have Hydro Boost on the brakes as it can't tolerate the higher pressure.

I have a new PS pump in stock for my '03, apparently there have been a # of engineering changes on this pump. The new one is completely different than the original. If necessary, I'll get the P/N for you.

I just had a new NAPA power steering pump and box put on mine. Lifetime warranty on the parts, for what it's worth. Mechanic seemed more impressed with it than the MOPAR original.
