You guys that have had this problem may want to check your brakes with the engine off. It could be that the compressed nitrogen bottle on the brake master cylinder burst causing an overflow of fluid. Brakes and steering will be fine when it's refilled as long as the engine is running. This blue anodized bottle is to provide assist if the engine stops - should be 2 or 3 good stops. Start slowly in a big parking lot, kill then engine, and if the pedal is hard right away then it's probably shot. Could drive the truck for 10 years and not know it, but it's something you don't want to be without.
