2003 low power

My 96 would pull my fifth wheel better than my 2003 Standard output with automatic. The 2003 by design only puts less than 200 horses to the wheels. Chysler worked on it for a year and managed to get the power down to 190 to the wheels

I fixed the problem with a 2004. 5

600. That is the only real cure. This Truck has power.

2004. 5 3500 dually with auto

My "cure" was a RAMifier on my S. O. automatic truck. It got me to about 333 hp and 544 tq. Pretty much the same rwhp as the 2004. 5 325/600. There are many "cures" depends on the "doctor";) Oh yeah, Welcome to the TDR. :D

Dog? Anemic? Hey, I have one of those California engines and it is my first diesel. I think it may be the fastest thing I have ever driven, (empty of course). It does just fine loaded down also. I love to drive it and play with that torque. Now don't let me drive an HO or 600 because I'll just have to have one.

I would have your truck looked at, I have the CA SO and also owned an 89 460 4x4 with 4. 10's. The CTD is way stronger in the pulling department.

The injected 460 performed well but I wouldn't compare it to 460 foot pounds. Everyday I am amazed at the trucks performance, can't even imagine what the HO or new 600's are like:eek:
