Attention: TDR Forum Junkies If you connect the Power Tailgate Lock to your Factory Power Door Locks circuit, be aware that when it blows the fuse it will disable running of your Cummins engine after starting.
This situation happened to me at the Yukon River crossing on the Dalton Highway in Alaska last month. I was able to analyze/diagnosis the symptom/repair because I had my factory wiring service manual with me. I also unplugged the Power Tailgate Lock.
