Power upgrade fpr an 06

Hello all,



My dad is looking for bump in power, but doesn't want anything real radical, around 60 horse. I am a 2nd gener so I don't follow the commonrail stuff as closely as I should. Any opinions good, bad, or other are greatly appericated.

Quad XTZ module, or EZ should do the trick. Some say the EZ is bad an injectors if you keep it turned up all the time. I would say the Quad would be good for him, and the price will win him over.

I've got a quad xzt tow box I bought 2-3 mnths ago that I ran for 1 tank. Loved it, more power and more mpg, threw no codes. But got bit by the power bug and put race box on it. I need to put it in classifieds, pm me if interested.

Any of the above would do him great, he might want to check out some of the new stuff from TST as well! And i would at least get a pyro and boost gauge just to be on the safe side!

I have a Quad and am very satisfied with it. Three power settings 30-60-90. I especially like the 60hp setting for towing. I get 13mpg with a 19k lb combined weight. The Quad provides approx . 5mpg increase in mileage. Nothing to write home about. But the performance gain is substantial

for the replies I will check them out. He does have a pyro in a SRT pillar, but no boost gauge. If the smarty runs anything like the 2nd gen, I know I would like it. Thanks again.
