Well, installed my new injectors yesterday. Big thanks to Don for all the work getting us the group purchase. I don't notice much power increase from my existing injectors which were Bosch aftermarket that I mistakenly thought were BD's. Install went well, took 2 hours and fired right up. The biggest difference is the amount of smoke. Far less than before, even up here at 5000 feet. Gene had posted really great install directions that can be found in the archives. Could not believe the rust on my old injectors. A 15mm wrench fits the flats and I gave them a wiggle then yanked them out with a pair of vise grips, no problem. My EGT is pretty close to what it was with the old injectors-500-600 degrees and 5lbs boost at 65mph. I can run it up to 1150degrees in a hurry if I stand on it pulling a grade but seems like EGT backs off and speed will continue to increase if I just back off a bit. There seems to be a sweet spot between too much pedal/ high EGT and getting good power and speed. I have my pump up at 1. 44mm and the Banks stage II setup. I am going to have Wentland Diesel turn my pump to 1. 33 later in December and expect lots more power. We'll see BY the way-Anyone know where I can get this beast on a Dyno to see where I am at?

Pat. Try Cummins Intermountain Northwest or Pacific States Cat in Boise. It'll set you back about $175. I need to do this too, but I think I'll wait till spring when I can run some good fuel again.

What about temp. problems ? I am running a non intercooled 91, strait 3" exhaust, no muffler and no tail pipe (comes out in front of the rear wheel, but I have a 179" wheel base) Can I put the Power Wagon injectors in without a meltdown ? I pull a 29' 5th wheel and a 16' boat boat at the same time. Any help would be great #ad

Last year for the Crew Cab was 1985)If you want to know why I did all of this, 2 kids, one on the way and I can't stand Ford and Chevy. Kyle Hoover ,Fruitport, MI

Pat there is a dyno that is operated out of a speed shop in Boise. It is the Hot Rod shop and its located on the corner of Curtis and Overland roads in Boise. They have a web site and I think it is Idahohotrodshop.com They have had diesel trucks on their dyno before according to the counter guy. I believe they use a DynoJet chasis dyno. #ad
