You got to be kidding me, the parts they are using to create the Power Wagon is nothing new to the trucking world. They are readily available now and have been so for some time. The front mounted winch is from Warn, this one has been developed for Dodge, but it is the same as there 12,000lb model they have now. The wheels are from Alcoa, and the 17" tires are BFG all terrain-KO's. The 2" taller stance is derived by longer coils up front and some additional leaves in the rear, 1" in suspension and 1" from the taller tires. The gears are 4:56, which are available in the aftermarket, and incorporate electrical locking differentials. Rear is a limiting slip model when UN-locked while the front is open. The most unique item the Power Wagon has is the electronic disconnecting front sway bar, this is neat and offers a huge advantage off road by allowing the trucks suspension to flex. This is one item that is not available in the aftermarket as far as I know. It would be available from Dodge, and of coarse it could be fitted to your truck.
I think Dodge did very well in there preparation on the power Wagon. They crossed a line that had not been crossed before in a full size truck. I think it will only be a matter of time till the Power Wagon is made available with Cummins power, some magazines have suggested it will be available mid year, I hope. Dodge made the Power Wagon an awesome starting platform for a serious off-road vehicle, it has the gears, differential and axles most would call perfect. Just add a little more lift and some 37" tires and I would be very happy.
