I was fourtunate to drive the 2005 power wagon yesterday morning it was a neat ride the HEMI had a lot more power than my broher in laws 1500QC HEMI probably because of the 456 rear the sticker of this thing was $45,000 the dealer only had 1 the silver powerwagon when I asked him if he was negeotiatable on the price he would ask the owner of the dealership and the the reply was he was not going to take it up the a-- :--) and I would have to pay sticker I cannot belive that as a customer that a dealership would say this but it should not suprise me I am dealing with Dodge Matt 2004. 5 silver dually laramie 4x4 :confused:
 
Check Ebay. There have usually been several of them on there in the past. I would own one of them if the Cummins was available!
 
Does anyone know if some of the Power Wagon accessories, like the sway bar disconnect and the skid plates, will fit the 2500 4X4 Quad SWB Diesel 6 -speed? I wonder if there are additional tabs welded to the hydro-formed frame for the underside protection.

Why don't you see what tomygun would sell one? He is a Dodge salesman and if anyone could get you a good deal, he could. :-laf

And trust me, I am ALL OVER getting some power-wagon skid plates on my truck :)

It would be MUCH appreciated if you can price the skid plates out, and verify that there are no special tabs. I ,for one, would order a set. How about the sway bar disconnect? Don't need to integrate it into the computer, just an on/off switch... Seem reasonable?

It is too early in the game, the part numbers are not in the system yet...



But dont you worry, If I can get that Swaybar disconnect on a diesel, consider it done!



That goes for the skid plates too

dont mean to highjack the post but,

the power wagon has a 4. 56 gear ratio? if this is true then why couldnt i order a set for my cummins? been waiting for options in ratios.
 
Skid Plates: Custom cost

To add heat to the fire, and get an idea of what underbody protection costs to have custom made, read on. I had a local 4x4 shop (Fly-N-Hi) build up a fuel tank skid plate for my 04. 5 with the Off-Road package. I also had them modify a front receiver hitch from Hidden Hitch so that the receiver pokes through the front air dam, not underneath it. The receiver hitch as modified provides protection for the exposed coolers and radiators without reducing the approach angle. Fly-N-Hi charged me $750 for this work, not including the $90 for the front hitch. It is a crying shame that the Off-Road package in 04 was mostly a sticker. The lack of even basic under body protection really amazed me. :confused: I haven't crawled under a PW yet. I would be interested to compare the strength and quality of the factory skid plate to my custom one.

You can't get them in a factory truck because you'd only be able to go about 50 MPH.
