I'm guessing the lock out switch has gone bad. Only the driver now has control of the windows. Might it be just the lock out switch? Any fuses worth checking? This is certainly a problem I can live with, but I'll fix it if it's easy enough. Kinda sucks when you are a passenger and have to ask the driver to roll you up or down.

TIA, Dave

You might try GENTLY prying out the switch control panel on the armrest with a plastic tool. The connections on the backside of the switches can get loose and cause malfunctions. You can tighten up the connectors and press the control panel back in place and see if this fixes your problem. It fixed mine.

Window power modules in that year of ANY Dodge are suspect. Would recommend replacing with new OEM part. I've been down the road before.

My wife's 03 has the sam problem... I'm thinking I'll just short out the lock out switch and let all windows go up/down at will.

I tried pulling the switch block out and undoing and redoing the wire harnesses. Still only works from the driver's door. I forgot to check if the other locks are affected or just windows.

Passenger side would not work. Pulled both sides out and blew them clean, put some dialectric on them and it cured the problem.

I have a fair idea that, even when the contacts remain closed (unlocked), corosion occurs between them. Either that, or that contact isn't good and there is minor arching every time one of the three windows it controls is operated.

As much as possible, I like to keep things working the way they were designed to, but in this case, I'm going to bypass the switch and disable the window lock capability.

You can remove the control module w/ out removing the whole door... it just pops out. This isn't high my to od list, so if someone gets to it first, pls post the wires you tied together.

that seems to be a common problem with chry/dodge my '03 Ram3500, '05 chry 300C, and '05 Ram all had the same problem at the same time.

Problem I had was the express down function on the driver's window was inoperative. It was acting like the other three. Had to keep the switch engaged to have the window go down. Then, while backing out of my driveway the truck died. It would crank but not fire and the error code said "no bus". Towed to the dealer and they found the problem. It is called a "C-108" connector located above the bell housing. Apparently three wires were shorting out so they were repaired and the harness relocated. This fix also repaired the driver's window problem.
