I'm having a little touble with my power window on my 90. Last summer the gear on the motor stripped out, so I bought a gear, tore it down and replacd it. It worked fine until now. It quit working again, but this time the motor won't turn. I read on another thread that when you grease it, sometimes grease finds its way into the motor and stops it. I am trying to get the motor/regulator out, but the window is all the way up and won't move. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I used a hole saw to drill some holes through the door skin to access the bolts that hold the motor in on my sons '90. I did this with the window in the up position, how did you remove the motor the first time?

Jim,

One other thing I found out in replacing the motor was that were two motors spec'd out for the late '89/early '90. The one on my son's truck was the larger of the two motors, the later models used a smaller motor and the gear stuck out farther. I don't know if it helps, it just something I remembered today... .
