2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission power window switch

the switch that operates my power windows has dropped down in its recess, I have made some half hearted attempts to take the door panel off but was in a hurry and I usually break something when I do that. Can someone give me a hint on how to take the panel off so I can get at the switch? Thanks.

if my memory serves me right, you just need to pop off the the bezel around the switch. that should pop up from the back side and lift out.

You can take out the finger pocket plastic insert (you know - the thing that you grab when you shut the door) by taking out two screws. This allows you to get under the switch and push it back up into place.
