Power windows in ignition on position only?

Assuming that the window motor does not draw too much current, you might have been able to do the same thing with two diodes. Connect the anode (+) side of one of the diodes to the window fuse (or CB) and the anode(+) of the other diode to the dome light fuse (or CB) and the cathodes(-) of both diodes to the window motor(s).

Welcome Great White,
I started to e-mail you to ask you if you had thought about joining TDR and if you wanted me to post your solution. I haven't had the chance to wire mine yet, but thankfully we didn't get the snow they were predicting so hopefully I can do it on my next free day. I too had been thinking about lights to illuminate the ground and tube steps when the interior lights come on.
