Who makes a performance up grade on a box with out turning up the pressure besides TST?

I don't like the Idea of going beyond the design limits of the HPCR that Cummins has from the factory because of the posibility of an Injector failing' and taking a chance of shorting the life of the engine and other componets that are involved in the HPCR system.

Ive been reading in Issue #48 about the different boxes such as Banks,Bullydog, Predator, TS, Van Aaken, Quadzilla, and such.

They all use pressure as part of their programming.

Rail pressure vs. RWHP really caught my eye as to not knowing just how high the Pressure really is turned up to accomplish similar HP ratings, varing from one manufacture to the other on the charts.

The bottom line is, that I want a little more power for passing when I need it, and some economy also without taking away longivity from the engine.

Edge Juice, timing and duration :) a tad bit of pressure?

The Juice w/Attitude will put a great big :D :D :D on your face. EDGE has done their homework on this one. If you're worried about injector problems, run it on #1 or #2 and stiil enjoy good power (#5 is really  ).

Box choices

Whos running the Van Aaken C3. 2 ? Does it give better mpg, or just more power. I went too there web site and it didnt say anything about more milage, just more power.

I like the TST I just can't aford it right now. They give you alot of choices between HP and torque. I don't think I would get to use the full potential of the power max for the money I would be paying.

I would like to keep the BOMB BUG from biting me like it did on my last truck, like changing the turbo, more expensive Exhaust, bigger Injectors, hopping up the Trans etc... I want to get into the 300 HP range from the stock 250. Just looking to get a little more umph and milage.

I like the VA box, smooth powe rand lots of it. On the 100% setting the egt's went up as fast as the tach on my stock turbo and exhaust. Even with the new turbo and ATS manifold it still gets hot fast.

More hp without pressure upgrade??

Just put a quality full build on that transmission and you've got the 40hp to 50hp to the rear wheels that some have eluded to without the pressure upgrade and your truck will stay together longer with better fuel economy. Try it,. . you'll like it. :D

The stock trans works great and hooks up good , I'm impressed with it.

I had over 200,000 miles out of my 94's 47RH with a TST 250 Plate before I sold it and didn't have a problem. This 47RE I have feels very solid, hard to believe. I'm pretty shure I could add around 50 extra HP without hurting it, as long as I watch how I drive, which is how I used to drive my other truck all the time , especially when I'm towing.

I forgot to mention in my last post that the main reason I want to up the power is because of what I feel when I'm either accelerating empty, or pulling a load, It feels like the engine is defueling right when you need it most. Passing or pulling a load. It pulls good from the start and all of a sudden as your getting up to speed putting your foot into it , your just mashing the pedal farther with no ressults. It done this to me yesterday while pulling a tractor back from my hunting camp. It really gets Hairy  when your passing somone above 55 mph, It just takes it's time, even when empty
